The division focuses on optoelectronics, optical communication, and optical fibers and co-hosts the Photonics Conference (PC) and the Conference on Optoelectronics and Optical Communications (COOC) annually. Haerim Photonics Prize is awarded for achievement in areas of photonics.
Key words for this division include topics related to laser science such as laser spectroscopy, quantum electronics, nonlinear optics, and more recently near-field optics, nanophotonics, terahertz optics, and meta-materials. Seongdo Optical Science Prize is awarded for achievement in areas of optical science.
The division focuses on information theory, optical signal processing, three-dimensional display, holography, diffractive optics, image processing, optical information storage, and optical computer.
The division was established in 1999 working on biomedical instrumentation, biosensor technology, vision, tissue optics, photodynamic therapy, optical trapping, microscopy, biomedical imaging, and bio-chip applications. The division hosts the Annual Biophotonics Conference (ABC).
The division focuses on femtosecond laser, high power laser, semiconductor laser, terahertz laser, and applications in quantum electronics, bioimaging, nonlinear optics, and semiconductor microprocessing.
The division works on liquid crystal physics and optics, LCD applications, LEDs, OLEDs, and various other display technology.
The division was established in 2010 with key words that include quantum information, atomic and molecular physics, and quantum optics. The division hosts the annual Advanced Laser and Their Applications (ALTA) Workshop.
The division works on conventional and emerging lithography technology in various disciplines and industry and hosts the annual Next-Generation Lithography Conference.

This "Privacy Policy" explains the collection, use, and disclosure of "personal information" by Optics and Photonics Congress 2021, hosted by Optical Society of Korea (OSK hereafter), through the Website that OSK operates at osk.or.kr. In accordance to the Information Network Promotion Law revised in February 19, 2016 and legislated to prevent the misuse and abuse of personal information on the Internet, this Privacy Policy also explains our commitment to you with respect to our use and disclosure of the personal information that OSK collects from its members. Emails and Newsletters. We use the personal information you provide to us when you receive our newsletter in order to respond to your request, to reply to your email or to send you communications about news and events related to Optics and Photonics Congress 2021.
